Let's get the party started!
Aug. 31st, 2012 03:37 pmAs some of us have been discussing recently, we've been feeling the loss of the NFFR forums as a place for fun, low-key, always-available community interaction focused around Narnia. A Livejournal comm isn't quite as great as a forum for that sort of constantly flowing discussion, but we have it, and so we might as well use it! With that...
In the absence of the NFFR forums, we want to really encourage the use of this community to not only post and discuss fic, but to share discussion points, questions, anything moderately Narnia-related. The only restriction we ask honored is for all discussions to be respectful; a lot of serious matters are tied into Narnia and to any fandom, reflecting as they do our many and varied visions of, responses to, and opinions of the source material and its derived works, as well as our life experiences. People won't always agree, and it's okay to debate and discuss in this community, but leave any hate outside the door, please! We want this to be fun, friendly, safe, and inspiring.
The community is open to posting from any registered user (that includes LJ user, openid users, and Facebook users), and commenting from anyone, including anonymous users, and we want anyone and everyone to feel free to start a post going. To help get it rolling, we'll have a few posts going up in the next couple of days, mostly just things the community seems to be interested in currently, and as examples of some of thepossibilities we envision for types of posts.
Thanks everyone for being awesome! I'm personally super excited about the possibility of a centralized, revitalized Narnia fandom community.

Date: 2012-09-01 10:14 pm (UTC)If someone is thinking of reviving Ascast I'd be prepared to take part. ATM, I have almost no other obligations as I have no work and no school...
However I don't know how to edit sound so don't ask me to produce it.
