nffr_partyHello fellow Narnia fans! In our on-going attempt to bring you lots of Narnia goodness, we're going to run a weekly fic challenge starting this Monday. We have a store of prompts ranging from the very broad to the specific -- even some pictures! -- all over the Narnian canon, AUs, crossovers... hopefully something for everyone! This is completely open: you can play every week or once a year, whenever you're inspired. (But we hope you'll be inspired often -- more fic, more fun!)
We're going to keep it simple and low-pressure, so hopefully everyone will have lots of fun, but here are a few rules to start us off.
1. A new challenge will be posted every Monday, and will run until the following Sunday.
2. There is no minimum or maximum length for fic fills. You may write a drabble or an epic, as long as you write it in a week.
3. At any time during the week, you may post a fill for the challenge. Please put fics longer than 500 words behind a cut. Posting access for this comm is open, so if you are a member you should be able to post, and anyone with a Livejournal account can become a member.
4. We will open an "anon" fill post so that those without Livejournal accounts can post in the comments. You may post truly anon or you can use your OpenID login. If your fics are too long for one comment, post subsequent sections as replies to the first.
5. Amnesties will be held periodically, during which time you may catch up on any challenges you missed or didn't finish in time.
6. All types of content are welcome. Use your best judgment regarding trigger warnings and the like. Place trigger warnings at the top of your post or comment, above any cuts.
7. Please do give authors feedback!
On Sunday we will post a fic roundup with links to the week's fills. If there is interest, we may also have a section of links to Narnia fic from around the web. If there's a story you'd like to see on such a list, leave a comment here with title, author (anon is ok!), and link.
